My Successful Online Dating Experience

Maybe you have heard many successful love stories with online dating or maybe not but I’ll be sharing you my testimony and you can judge at the end if you want to use dating sites or not. Since the advancement of technology and the invention of the Internet, the popularity of online dating sites has been growing ever since.

First few days of usage

            My friends have been bugging me to try using a particular application so that I can get a boyfriend. They believe that when you are already in college, you should get a boyfriend so I tried their recommendation and I can say that it was overwhelming at first. Yes, I get to match with many people and we chatted but it doesn’t feel right to me. I mean it’s fun to be able to talk with other people but I’m just not feeling it. Still, I continued with it for how many days although most of the time, the conversations are short because we always ran out of things to talk about. Honestly for me, it was a bit exciting to try something new and different but after how many days, it bored me and I decided to stop it.

I found another application

            So I stopped using the other application and found a dating site using social media and it was hilarious. People are so random that sometimes I get to match with boys who are way older than me or who are living far away from me. It was like that for quite some time. Also, we cannot see each other’s photos so there’s some kind of excitement to know the appearance of the person we are chatting that’s why I used that application longer than the previous one.

Finally found my match

            One time while I was going home, inside the public transit I decided to use the application and expectedly I matched with someone immediately. That person was quite humorous and different than the ones I chatted formerly so we continued with our small talks and it became a habit of mine to check if he sent me a message. It went on for how many months without revealing each other’s photos. It was the first time that I really felt connected to someone. Fast forward, we exchange social media accounts and I get to see his face for the first time and he was actually…cuter than I expected. We continued on with our conversation and finally met each other. He was the same as he is in social media. Right now, we are happily living together. It’s always a good time with him around my side. I am very grateful that I found him and that I am contented with the life we have.

Conclusion

            Not all experiences will be pleasant but if you really wanted to find your true love, don’t give up easily. Have faith that you will succeed and someday, you will find the person you are looking for and you be as happy as me living the life you’ve always wanted.
