Dating is effortless nowadays, With the creation of apps and websites and the advancement of the Internet, it’s no wonder why many people use it. I actually have found my husband in a dating app so I’m going to share how I found him.

We are able to gain trust by slowly opening up to each other. I thought that if we just continue to have this casual conversation then we wouldn’t go anywhere so I started it by sharing about my family and the beliefs I was taught. I also mentioned about my past like in high school and college and we even got to the point where we talked about our past relationships. It was nice opening up to him because he knows the right things to say so I was able to trust him easily. Until now, I kept thinking about this and I was glad I opened up to him. Be open as much as possible. Share things to your pair and create a place where you can safely come out of the wall to let the relationship grow. Having a successful romance can be pretty hard but with the help of cupid, there will be nothing to worry about. You can meet many people whom will fit to your standards and are up to whatever you want.
Always show your true self no matter what.
When I first matched with my husband, I instantly told him what kind of person I am. I told him that I have a high self-esteem and my pride tends to get in the way sometimes but surprisingly, he didn’t mind it at all. He was able to understand me and even gave me some advice on how to slowly change my personality into better. Believe it or not but showing your true color at the beginning of dating is a great idea to show the other person who and what you really are. It will make it easier for them to assess whether they want to stay with you after seeing your real self or not and it will also avoid wasting any time while trying to impress each other with sugarcoated words.
Respect your partner.
When I was chatting with my husband, we are very careful with our words. We never ask each other about too personal things and we try to respect each other because we don’t really know what we are both going through. We try to keep the conversation casual so as not to scare the other person away or intimidate them. This is the main reason why I agreed to meet with him after we chatted for a long time. I was actually very excited to him. Each one of us doesn’t have the same upbringing so people tend to have different ideals and perspectives. Be considerate and understanding as this will be important to keep the flame of love burning through and through.
