Love can be pretty tricky since there are still so many things that we may not know about love. We have to be the ones to experience it to know what we should be doing and what we should avoid. Love can also be quite tricky since there are times where someone would get close to you and we feel like they have feelings for us. This is called assuming things because even though we don’t really know what they are after, we assume that they have feelings for us which is not really good. When you assume things, you will only get hurt and no matter what you do, your expectations will not come true. Here are some of the reasons why we assume in love.

They have shown their motives.

Maybe we assumed that they have feelings for us because they have shown their motives. They have shown us that they have feelings for us and they already said that they are a good person so because of this, we assume that they do really like us even though what they told us is vague. Sometimes we assume things because of what the other person does. Maybe the other person have hinted you about their feelings. Like they have sent you heart emojis when texting you, or they give you pick up lines to get you riled up which is why you might have assumed that they have feelings for you since they are very flirty with you and sends you things that only a person who likes someone does. It is understandable that you would assume.

Their actions says it all.

There are times where a person would be very kind to us like they would do all sorts of things for us and they always show their concern to us. They are always present whenever we would go somewhere, they would insist on getting us home instead of just sending us home, they would even make our birthdays special since they would give us loads of presents. Their actions say it all that they may have feelings for us which is why we tend to assume on this matter.

They do things only for us.

We assume because maybe that person would do things only for us, we never get to see them being concerned over others or being protective about others but only us. Because of this, we would assume that they might be doing all of these things for us is because they have feelings for us. We would think that only the person who likes us would care about us and would get protective of us. However, all of these things are still just assumptions in the end.
